He is survived by: his wife Eleonor Williams; his children, Jodi Essary (Shane), James Williams and Mark Williams; his grandchildren, Ethan and Elizabeth Essary; his sister Hazel Stallings; and his nieces and nephews, Christy Callihan, Angela Dotson, Joe Williams, Joe Stallings, Jimmy Stallings, Donald Dotson and Lynn Dotson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Munford Funeral Home - Munford (1136 Tipton Rd, Munford, TN 38058). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial contributions be made to the American Veterans Association or to St. Jude Research Hospital.
