He is survived by: his children, Stephen Michael Powell of Knoxville, TN and Laura Anne Burks (Jonathan) of Memphis, TN; his brother Gary R. Powell (Julie) of Martin, TN; his nephew Brad Powell of Newbern, TN; his grandchildren, Aiden Cooper Pyle and Avery Renee Powell; and his former wife Julie Hearn of Knoxville, TN..
