She was predeceased by: her husband Bud Oates; her brother Jimmy Rhodes; and her parents, James Rhodes and Loretta Rhodes. She is survived by: her brother Billy Rhodes (Debbie); her children, David Mize (Carrie) and Lisa Ergle (Bill); her grandchildren, Luke Mize (Samantha), Margaret-Ann Adkison (Tyler) and Chris Blackwood (Alyson); and her great grandchildren, Callie, Huck, Maisley Mize, Opie and Quinton "Ollie" Adkison.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Munford Funeral Home Munford Chapel (1136 Tipton Rd, Munford, TN 38058).
