He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Carl Adams and Jennie Mae Adams; his brother Carl Adams; and his sister-in-law Kitty Adams (Fred). He is survived by: his children, Wendy, Wendel Mae Adams (Casey O'Shea) of Alexandria, Brooke Wenru Adams of Brooklyn and Adolphus Wen-Long Adams of Chicago; his siblings, Fred Adams (Cindy) of Readyville, Andy Adams (Karen) of Murfreesboro, Robert Adams (Susanne) of Murfreesboro and Joanne Coggin (Gerald) of Murfreesboro; and his grandchildren, Lillias Mae O'Shea and Virginia Elizabeth O'Shea (Gigi) of Alexandria, Virginia..
