She was predeceased by: her husband Myers Parsons Sr.; her parents, Virginia Youree and Charles Youree Sr.; her siblings, General Charles Youree Jr. (Inez) and Ellen Youree Robinson (Tom Robinson); and her sons-in-law, Tom Chaney and David Kious.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Chaney Kious of Murfreesboro, Myers Parsons Jr. (Anne) of Murfreesboro, David Parsons (Shannon) of Murfreesboro and Sharon Sant Amour (John) of Murfreesboro; and her grandchildren, Shannon Chaney of Nashville, Allison Harris (Nat) of Memphis, Erin Cabell (Thomas) of Brentwood, Kelly Wallace (John) of Franklin, Clay Parsons (Honey) of Franklin, Adam, Sara Parsons of Murfreesboro and Ann Sant Amour of Murfreesboro. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren along with cherished nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (219 N Spring St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130).
Memorials may be made to the Legacy Fund at 1st Presbyterian Church Murfreesboro, the Oaklands Association, or to the Charity Circle of Murfreesboro in memory of Mrs. Parsons.
