He was predeceased by: his parent Shambhudas Motidas Patel; his wife Maniben Patel; and his brother Gandabhai Patel. He is survived by: his children, Hasmukhbhai Patel (Meenaben), Nayanaben Patel (Miteshbhai), Amitaben Patel (Bharatbhai) and Mukeshbhai Patel (Sonalben); his grandchildren, Monank, Hiral, Viraj, Henisha, Jayen, Rudra and Aayen; and his siblings, Ramanbhai Patel, Shakariben Patel and Savitaben Patel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
