She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Gilbert Deem and Lena Grace Lockhart Deem. She is survived by: her children, David Lee Scott (Vicki) and Debra Mothersbaugh (Earl); her brothers, Omer Darrell Deem (Emma) and Gary Earl Deem (Carol); and her grandchildren, Amanda Mothersbaugh, Erik Mothersbaugh (Rachel Dartar), Sam Scott (Kathryn), Greg Scott (Eryn) and Henry Scott (Anna). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
