With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly Read Calder (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), who passed away on April 18, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Charles Read and Betty Read; and her sister Linda Schrimsher. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James E. Calder; her children, Linda Olsen, Jon Olsen and James O "Joey" Calder (Christy); her grandchildren, Randall, Robert (Sydney), Rachel Eichas, Gabriella Vann (Eliiahu), Isabella, Tanner Olsen, Eva, Morgan and Alma Calder; and her great grandchild Kehlani Vann.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (315 E Main St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130).
