With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly Aynn Higdon of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Beverly leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barbee Cottar and Ethel Mai Odom Cottar; and her grandson Matthew Jordan. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Higdon Ferguson and Teresa Aynn Higdon Jordan; her sister Faye Lamb (Earl) of Murfreesboro; her nephews, Bryan Lamb and Eric Lamb (Lisa); and her pet Ladye.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (5350 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129).
