He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryant Swindell Hardison and Anna Ruth Lamb Hardison; his wife Glenda MacKenzie Hardison; his former wife Katharyn Diane Michel; his grandson Noah Greyson Causey; his son-in-law Dennis Delane Miller; Roger Cleveland Hardison, Terry Randall Hardison and Emily Ruth Campbell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Causey (Kevin) and Kathy Miller; his grandsons, Joshua Causey, Nick Causey (Whitney), Trent Miller (Anna) and Aaron Miller (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Everly, Finley Causey, Julianna, Drake Miller, Abagail Miller, Cooper and Bennett Causey; and his siblings, Jerry Hardison (Peggy), Sherry Walls (Earnest) and Barbara Hardison.
