He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Buchanan and Iva Lee Ellis Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Buchanan; his children, Charles R. Buchanan, Jr. (Karen) of Smyrna, TN, Larry M. Buchanan (Rhonda) of Murfreesboro, Jerry D. Buchanan (Sherry) of Murfreesboro and Nancy Buchanan Brown of Tupelo, Mississippi; and his sister Ezerlis McCall of Franklin, NC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
