Cheryl Benefield Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Benefield of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Johnny Hilliard; her husband Brent Benefield; her parents-in-law, Dwight and Alean Benefield; and her brother-in-law Butch Benefield.
She is survived by: her mother Patsy Jacobs Hilliard; her children, Tyler Benefield (Harlee) and Brittany Smitty (A. J.); her grandchildren, Aubrie, Annakate, Brentley and Remi; her brothers, Terry Hilliard (Mary Jo) and Curt Hilliard; her brother-in-law Benjie Blair (Robin); and her siblings' children, Kendell, Makenzie, Blake, Matthew, Blair, Zack, Chase and Livia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodfin Memorial Chapel (1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (5350 NW Broad St, Murfreesboro, TN 37129).
