It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Benefield of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Johnny Hilliard; her husband Brent Benefield; her parents-in-law, Dwight and Alean Benefield; and her brother-in-law Butch Benefield.
She is survived by: her mother Patsy Jacobs Hilliard; her children, Tyler Benefield (Harlee) and Brittany Smitty (A. J.); her grandchildren, Aubrie, Annakate, Brentley and Remi; her brothers, Terry Hilliard (Mary Jo) and Curt Hilliard; her brother-in-law Benjie Blair (Robin); and her nieces and nephews, Kendell, Makenzie, Blake, Matthew, Blair, Zack, Chase and Livia.
