He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy A. Smith and Elsie Mae Stainbrook Smith; his wife Norma J. King Smith; his siblings, Clyde Smith, Earl Smith, Robert Smith, Ray Smith, Roy Smith and Marie Taylor; and his grandsons, Matthew Smith and Michael Fuller.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Fuller, Richard Smith (Kathleen), Kim Galkowski (Richard) and Kevin Smith (Francesca). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodfin Memorial Chapel (1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
