He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Jennings and Ramona Dunston Jennings; his siblings, Bernadette Elase of Wendell, Robert "Bubba" Jennings, Jr., John Wayne Jennings and Sylvia Twitty; his grandparents, James "Daddy Jim" and Mattie Dunston Sr.; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Belle, James Dunston II, Bobby and Evelyn Bostick.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanna Renee Jennings; his daughters, YaSheika, YaQuita and YaTeika Jennings; his grandchildren, Taquan Jennings, Zane, Zion Jennings, Alina, Jeriya, Anari and Snow Ella Strong; and his siblings, Jacqueline Jennings-McGowan of Murfreesboro, TN, Sherman Jennings (Delories) of Stonecrest, GA, Michael Jennings, Norita Jennings of Murfreesboro, TN, Kenneth Jennings of Nashville and Kelvin Jennings of Conyers, GA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hellum Funeral Chapel (611 S Highland Ave, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Allen Chapel AME Church (224 S Maney Ave, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
