It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton H. Colpitts of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 29, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Clayton and Annie Louise Colpitts; and his siblings, Fred Colpitts and Lillian Mae Atchinson. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Jean Barrett Colpitts; his daughters, Kimberly Warren (Johnny Smotherman), Debbie Newport (Phil) and Betty Lee; and his granddaughters, Baylee Newport, Evie Newport, Kennede Lee, Sadie Lee and Ellie Lee.
