She was predeceased by: her brothers, Richard W. Mays, Jr. and Lorenzo A. Mays, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Steven Smith (Rita); her siblings, Henry E. Mays and Lucy Truitt (Ben); and her brother-in-law Willie Moreland "Sonny" (Willie Mae). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
