We bid farewell to Cyrus Wiser Jr. of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Anniston, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 21, 2025 at the age of 74. Cyrus touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Wiser and Cyrus Wymer Wiser Sr.; his brother Gary G. Wiser, Sr.; and his stepdaughter Hallee Jean Cartwright. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Morgan Wiser; his children, Hannah Leigh Wiser (Taylor) and Ellis Wiser; his grandson Fisher Tate Goetz; his sister Linda Sadler (George) of Fredericksburg, VA; his parents-in-law, Fred and Shelby Morgan; his sisters-in-law, Gayle Pope Wiser, Vivian Alley, Rachel Hamby and Rita Anderson; and his stepdaughter Hannah Cartwright (James). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodfin Memorial Chapel (1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (519 Greenland Dr, Murfreesboro, TN 37130).
