We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2023, at the age of 76, Dale Horner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Horner and Vivian Barnes Horner; his daughter Shellie Horner-Maitland; and his sister Karen Sue Gestiehr. He is survived by: his wife Nona Horner; his daughter Tasha Horner-Stephens of Athens, TN; his sisters, Barbara Welch (Roger) of Inman, SC and Patricia Cartwright (Tommy) of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Dalen Maitland, Brandon Mitchell, Brittany Stephens and Ricky Stephens; his great grandchildren, Gideon Taylor and Benjamin Maitland; and his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Gestiehr, Kristi Dillard, Kasi Althaus, Lee Cartwright, Michael Cartwright and Ada Welch.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in memory of Dale to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
