He is survived by: his wife Mava Ruth Shelton Garvin; his children, Dwight Garvin (Dana) of Milton, TN and Jennifer Garvin McKnight (Mark) of Franklin, TN; his grandchildren, Jack Dillard, Caroline Dillard, Devin McKnight (Anna Claire), Sam Garvin, Luke McKnight, Katie Garvin, Lauren McKnight, Charles Dillard and Mary Beth McKnight; and his siblings, Terry Wayne Garvin (Debbie) of Murfreesboro, TN and Helen Dement (Brence) of Murfreesboro, TN..
