He is survived by: his wife Carol Louise Pharris Simpson; his children, Stephanie Slemp (Gerald), Tracy Clementz (Ed) and David Earl Simpson Jr. (Trina); his grandchildren, Dana Zett (John), Cory Clementz (Isabella), Sara Slemp, James Clementz, Kierstyn Simpson, Casey Clementz, Nathaniel Simpson and Jenny Clementz; his great grandchild Juliet Zett; his granddaughters, Caroline Zett and Lily Slemp; his aunt Kaye Harvey Wyckoff (Pete); his niece Christine Simpson; and his nephews, Brian Simpson II and Richard Simpson. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins.
