He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest E. Shirk and June E. Shirk (Shadel) of Mount Pleasant Mills, PA.; his wife Susan Myers Shirk of Murfreesboro, TN; his brother Darryl; his sister-in-law Ellen Shirk (Stuck) of Middleburg, PA; and his nephews, Nathan Shirk of Catawissa, PA and Chad Shirk of Hellertown, PA.. He was also cherished by his family, friends, and neighbors deeply, spoiled his wife.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Maney Hall.
