She is survived by: her husband Clarie Bernice Tate; her siblings, Frances Heyden and Lee Ornelas Jr.; her grandson-in-law Jason Nunley; her daughters, Peggy Scissom (Bear), Kathy Rollins (Jeff) and Kristy Hinshaw; her brother Bill Ornelas; her grandchildren, Stacey Walker (Cecil), Tracey Champion (Charlie), Patti Nunley, Dara Meeks (Zack), Kendall Cooper (Jarrod Rose) and Kolby Hinshaw; her great grandchildren, Brandon (Evelyn), Hunter (Shelby), Brittany (Chad), Rebecca, Urijah, Kross, Kade, Royce and Riot; and her nephews, Lee John Ornelas, Kenny Roberts and Cary Hayden. She is also survived by 9 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Fall Creek Cemetery (30067 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37339).
