He is survived by: his parents, Marie Phillips and Don Sr. Phillips; his sisters, Monica (Joseph Jr.) and Donna (Scott Sr.); his nephew Joseph III (Ingrid); his great-niece Rhianna; and his siblings' children, Elyse Johnson (Mike Metz) and Scott Jr..
