He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Scharf and Emma Scharf; and his brothers, Lawrence (Larry) and Edgar. He is survived by: his wife Maria Scharf; his son Donald Scharf (Teresa Davis); his grandchildren, Cindy Staron (Ed) of Amherst, OH, Michael Scharf and Scott Staron (Jennifer); and his sister Monica. He is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
