Donna Jane Weathers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Jane Weathers (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sherrell Newton Weathers; her parents, Ira Melvin Stevens and Alma Mae Stevens; and her grandmothers, Sadie Keith and Mary "Grannie" Hearod.
She is survived by: her sisters, Alma Faye Stevens and Pattie Evelyn Tillman; her daughters, Cheryl Lynn Hardy (Alan), Kimberly Jane Jones (Scott), Christy Ann Lawson (Jason) and Lisa Dawn Weathers; her grandchildren, Christian Keifer Johnson (Sam), Autumn Ashley Watson (Micah), Joseph Dakota Johnson (Cassidy), Dylan Storm Johnson, Avery Isaiah Lawson and Everett Solomon Lawson; and her great grandchildren, Maeve Lynn Watson, Olivia Quinn Watson and Aubree Lynn Johnson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to support a child in need honoring Donna's long-standing tradition of caring for others for many years.
