It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doretta Michelle Dodson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Tommy McClurkan; her son John Benjamin Harrison; her grandparents, Russell, Marie Moore, Brooks and Mattie McClurkan; and her stepfather Elvis Bingham.
She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Bingham; her husband Rich Dodson; her children, Kayla Thomason (Paul), Bailey Dodson and Riley Dodson; her grandchildren, Holden England and Audriana Thomason; her siblings, Tonya Silverstein (John) and Kevin McClurkan (April); her niece Makenah McClurkan; and her in-laws, David Varner (Janet) and Willard Dodson Jr. (Helen). She is also survived by numerous aunts; uncles; and cousins.
