It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Collins of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Dorothy has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rush and Vallie Rush of Laurel; her husband Charles Melvin Collins; her sister Margaret Duncan of Kentucky; and her daughter Melonie Beth Collins.
She is survived by: her sons, Sam Collins (Debbie) of Murfreesboro, Danny Collins (Alisa) and Jim Watlington (Marla) of Shelbyville. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
