She was predeceased by: her parents, Livy Beshearse and Susie Bertha Johnson Beshearse; her husband Jimmy Lee Porter; her son Jimmy Wayne Porter; and her brother Eugene Beshearse.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Dawes Porter (Mickie) and Susie Carol Dickinson (BJ); her siblings, James Beashearse (Elizabeth) and Mildred Mitchell; her grandchildren, Tara Porter, Todd Porter, Payton Miller (Toby), Hannah Porter and Brandi Forbes (Jerdain); and her great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Scarlett, Trenton and Dorothy.
