With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Insell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who passed away on November 7, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur James and Lizzie Mae Wooten James; her husband Charles Richmond Insell; her son William "Billy" Insell; and her siblings, Fred A. James (Susie B.), Edmond "Carl" James (Pearl), Robert James, Mattie Mae Vogel, Quixie Moses (Udell), Yvonne Carter and Patsy Ann Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Insell (Deb) of Murfreesboro, Bob Insell (Kaye) of Lebanon, Kay Adamson (Wayne) of Woodbury and Gayle Alexander of Goodlettsville; and her grandchildren, Tom Insell (Sarah), Kyle Insell (Megan), Matt Insell (Autumn), Clint Insell (Jennifer), McKenzie Carroll (Matt), Chelsee Stevens (Shawn), Cory Barrett (Stacey), Erin Tucker (David), Jake Alexander (Egda) and Christy Adamson. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to United Way.
