She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H. Freemon Jr.; her parents, William Hollis and Lillian Hollis; and her siblings, Kit, Irene, Christine, Leland, Doug and Phyllis Carol.
She is survived by: her children, Robert H. Freemon III (Laura), Jeffrey L. Freemon (Samantha), Linda F. Tucker (Robbie) and Sharon F. Everett (Walter); and her siblings, Georgia Franklin, Bernice Gannon, Mack Hollis (Jane), Eleanor Janes, Virginia Edwards, Bruce Hollis and Bobby Shirley Hollis. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many other loving family members.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Edith's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or The American Heart Association.
