She was predeceased by: her parents, Erastis Madewell and Annie McCoy Madewell; her husband Thurman VanWinkle; her daughters, Rachel VanWinkle, Sandra Ross and Vickie Markum; her granddaughter Amy Markum; her great grandchild Katie Bauer; and her brother Virble Madewell.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna White (Randy); her grandchildren, Amanda Gillihan (Victor), Melinda Bauer (Daniel) and Tommy Bain (Tifini); her great grandchildren, Rachel Markum, Dylan Bauer, Bella Bain, Brinli Bain, Vince Bauer, Victor Gillihan, Jr., Jamie Markum, John Luke Bauer and Benjamin Gillihan; her great great grandchild Kaiden-James Rutledge; her brother Carl Madewell (Dorothy); and her nephews, Jared Madewll and Alan Madewell.
