With sadness, we share the passing of Emmalyn Snavely Dillon of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Emmalyn, born on March 15, 1948, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Maynard Phillips and Margorie Taylor Phillips Keyt; her former husband Charlie O. Snavely; and her siblings, Paulette Baucum (Bill) of Shelbyville, Tennessee and Scott Phillips (Robyn Phillips) of Missouri.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Edward Dillon of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her brother Edwward M. Phillips Sr. (Patricia) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her sons, Charles Scott Snavely of North Carolina and John Patrick Snavely of Tallahassee, Florida; and her granddaughter Allison Snavely of North Carolina. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodfin Memorial Chapel (1488 Lascassas Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Tennessee.
