He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman L. Blanton, Sr. and Gladys White Barrett Blanton; his son Ernest Eugene Blanton (Bubba); and his siblings, Christine Blanton Horton, Truman L. Jr., Donald (Donnie) and Michael Blanton (Mike).
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Keith Blanton, Kevin Blanton and Amanda Renee Blanton Porter; and his sisters-in-law, Amy Harding Blanton and Peggy Johnson Blanton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
