Dansby of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Dansby and Elizabeth Dansby; his son Joel Dansby; and his siblings, Kenneth, George Dansby and Mildred Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Dansby; his daughters, Sharon Chess of Ferndale, MI, Lisa Ingram of Westland, MI and Carol Tavormina (Jerry Tavormina) of Walworth, NY.; his sister Lois Lovelace of Plymouth, MI; and his stepchildren, Jeff Coplai (Marti) of Milwaukee, WI and Karen Dixon (Steve) of Estill Springs, TN..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Santieu Funeral Home (1139 Inkster Rd, Garden City, MI 48135). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at the Glen Eden Memorial Park (35667 Eight Mile W, Livonia, MI 48152).
