He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover F. Dixon and Jessie L. Northcutt Dixon; his wife Mary Louise Dixon; and his son-in-law Brian Freeland. He is survived by: his children, Gene Dixon Jr. (Leshelle) and Debbie Freeland (Brian); and his brother David Dixon, Sr.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
