It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Edward Cothran of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Eugene and Georgia Quattlebaum Cothran; his sister Vadis C. Mandrell; and his nephew Taylor E. Cothran. He is survived by: his wife Kay Ferguson Cothran; his children, Allen Cothran (Jill) of Anderson and Kate Cothran Noblitt (Beau) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Eddie, Landon, Charlie, Georgia and Lincoln; and his siblings, Thomas E. Cothran and Susan C. Dutt.
