He was predeceased by: his parents, Amon Johnson and Louise Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Lydia McKnight Johnson; his former wife Paulette Cooper Mears; his daughters, Amy Willis (Clyde) and Lori Marrs (Steve); his stepchildren, Shannon McKnight (Jennifer) and Holly McKnight Kern (Ben); and his grandchildren, Brianna Fann, Hunter Fann (Michaela), Abbie McKnight (Carlos), Aidan McKnight, Brighten Kern, Cypress Kern, Juniper Kern and Emaus Kern.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gerald's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN or to the charity of your choice.
