She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin F. Boyd and Ida Florence Boyd; her husband Elbert McCoy Hanvy; her son-in-law Billy White; and her son Jeffrey L. Hanvy.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Hanvy (Sharon), Vic Hanvy (Patsy), Sharon White and Tonya Hollandsworth (Steve); her grandchildren, Kandy Powers (Frank), Dana Barnes (Brian), Melissa Baker, Marsha Mummel (Kevin), Jessica Hanvy, Siobhan Smith, Stacy Haggard (Chris), Regina Celedonio (Jorge), Tiffany Davis (John), Laura Stauder (Cameron), Alexanna Bragg (Jon), SaraBeth Hollandsworth, Olivia Hollandsworth, Bobby Hanvy (Catherine), Ryan Hanvy, Christopher Hanvy (Bryson), Brent Hanvy (Pam), Tyler White (Natalie) and Noah White; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katie, Rachel, Lily, Alyssa, Ivey, Isabella, Gabrielle, Katelynn, Stephanie, Brooklyn, Lorelai, Addison, Avery, Hazel, Elijah, Robert, Jake, Chase, Samuel, Maximus, Jeffrey, Anthony, Tommy, Jason, Jacob, Xander, Grifin, Aidan, Tristan, Ezra, Asa and Jaymes; and her great great grandchildren, Ellie, Amayah, Madeline, Charlotte, Malia, Avalynn, Cora and Opal.
Mrs. Hanvy lived happily and fiercely independently at her home in LaVergne for 38 years before her Alzheimer's diagnosis.
