She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Benton Mullinax and Nealie King Mullinax; her brother Thomas Brown Mullinax; and her sister-in-law Jane Mullinax. She is survived by: her husband Larry Dale Melton; her sons, Andrew Scott Melton (Katherine Elizabeth Melton) and Brian Melton (Melaine Parker Melton); her grandchildren, Austin Dale Melton of Murfreesboro, Brayden Parker Melton of Murfreesboro, Ashlyn Brooke Melton of Murfreesboro, Addison Elizabeth Melton of Murfreesboro and Andrew Scott Melton Jr. of Murfreesboro; and her siblings, Charles Mullinax of Alabama, Terry Mullinax (Tanya) of Florida and Greta Mullinax of Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's association in loving memory of Geri Melton.
