He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Harden Harvey of Chattanooga, TN.; and his siblings, Beatrice Rogers, Edward Harvey, Howard Harvey, Mark Harvey, Max Harvey and Carl Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Stevens Harvey; his children, Chris Harvey (Sandra), Connie Harvey Holland and Carolyn Gann Harvey; his grandchildren, Reagan Kenley (Ben), Robert Clark Holland, Keith Harvey (Catherine), Beth Williams, Matthew Harvey (Angel), Jessica Harvey, James Harvey (Lena) and Joseph Harvey; his stepchildren, John Lancaster (Cynthia) and Janie Parks (Jimmy); and his stepgrandchildren, Sonya Glover, Krista Glover, Trent Glover, Colton Perry, Olivia Parks and Croix Parks.
