He was predeceased by: his parents, James Curtis Troup and Velma Hubble Troup; and his daughter Martha Troup Haywood. He is survived by: his wife Molly Howard Troup of Murfreesboro, TN; his granddaughters, Sara Ann Haywood, Mary Beth Haywood and Katie Grace Haywood; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Jordan, John and Gracelynn; his son-in-law Brian Nelson; and his siblings, Jerry Troup (Janie) of Memphis, TN and Alice Tart (Richard) of Dyersburg, TN..
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rover Baptist Church (202 Baptist Church Rd, Eagleville, TN 37060). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rohoboth Cemetery.
