He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Spradley and Lucy Mae Compton Spradley. He is survived by: his wife Sherian Spradley; his children, Cindy Esparza, Karen Watts, Lori Spradley, Tammy Langston, Gidget Dillingham and Richard Inskeep; and his brothers, Robert Spradley (Elaine) and Joe Spradley (Jane).
