With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Morris Childers (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), who passed away on October 3, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Lee and Effie King Childers; and his siblings, Ella Mae Hammock, Mary Varner, Donnie Childers and Frankie Childers.
He is survived by: his spouse Shelby; his daughter Angie Brewer (Billy Golden); his granddaughter Ashley Brewer (Thomas DeBow); his great grandchildren, Georgia Jean DeBow, Rowdy DeBow and Kyleigh DeBow; his grandson Greg Brewer (Kayla); his great grandchild Audrey Brewer; and his siblings, Bill Childers, Johnny Childers, Cameron Childers (Donna), Charles "Chip" Childers, Norma Jean Bray, Joyce Layton (James) and Judy Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
