He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lester Buchanan and Mary Lucille Buchanan; his brother Ronald Buchanan; his nephews, Ronnie Buchanan and Steve Buchanan; and his grandson Crew Buchanan.
He is survived by: his wife Robbie Hindman Buchanan; his sons, Jerry Robert Buchanan Jr. (Maegan) of Thompson Station, TN and Michael Buchanan (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Coast Buchanan, Madelyn Buchanan, Cade Buchanan, Celleck Buchanan, Gabe Buchanan and Corbin Buchanan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel (5852 Nolensville Pk, Nashville, TN 37211). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
