He was predeceased by: his parents, L. F. "Doc" Hunter and Lula Mae Hunter; his stepdaughter Penny Best; and his pet Paco. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hunter of LaVergne, TN; his siblings, Karen White (Ralph) of Nashville, TN and Lynn Hunter of Smyrna, TN; his niece Gina Haffner (Joe) of Murfreesboro, TN; his nephew Patrick White of Nashville, TN; his stepchildren, Kim Moss (Raymond) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Noble "Chip" Best of Smyrna, TN and Mark Best (Teresa) of LaVergne, TN; and his pets, Precious, Lady and Dixie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
