He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene W. Petry and Jean Snyder Petry; his former wife Pamela Sue Petry; his grandparents, Joseph and Martha Snyder; his parents-in-law, Ernest and Marjorie Young; his brother-in-law Tom Smith; his sister Candy; and his brother-in-law Leonard Chapman.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Tatum and Tallen; his wife Carol Bedwell Petry; his children, Joseph Petry (Angie), Casey Petry (Monica), Jamie Bohanan (Derek) and Tannas Knox; his stepson Raphel Shinkle; his siblings, Gary Petry (Cindy), Scott Petry (Pam) and Debbie Smith; and also, Tommy Young, Ann Cottingham, Jana Young and Marga Kay Jennings. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
