He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ruth Davis; his former wife Shelby Jean Mills; his daughter-in-law Sandra Mills; his stepgranddaughter Jill McClung; and his brothers-in-law, Eddie Barnes and Leonard Snodgrass.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Mills of Murfreesboro, TN; his son Kent Mills of Gallatin, TN; his stepdaughter Julie Braxton Parrish (Robert) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandson Matthew Mills of Gallatin, TN; his stepgranddaughters, Lindsey Tuttle of St. Louis, MO, Taylor Sounthavanh of Murfreesboro, TN and Valerie Parrish of Rockvale, TN; and his sister-in-law Patrica Snodgrass of McMinnville, TN.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
