He is survived by: his wife Pat Fortner; his son Joel Fortner (Emilee); his grandsons, Jean-Luc Fortner (Cheyenne) and Ethan Young (Lily); his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Michael, Freya Fortner and Evren Young; and his siblings, Roger Fortner (Connie) and Lois Fortner Crisp (Ray).
