He was predeceased by: his father James A "Mutt" Rucker; his uncle Rufus Gaines; and his brother James Burns (Khason McMahon). He is survived by: his mother Julia M. Rucker; his aunt Peggy Cole (Joe); his wife Mechelle Rucker; his sons, Greg Murray (Tori) and Jason McMahon (Rebecca); his sisters, Barbara Cantrell (Tollie) and Debra Smith; his siblings-in-law, Elwood McMahon, Elise Angus, Sandra Locke, Pamela Wilson, Cheryl Davis and Melody Terry; and his friend Mr Bill Winn. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished church friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St John United Methodist Church (17300 Cainsville Rd, Lascassas, TN 37085).
