He was predeceased by : his father Mao Khanounsay. He is survived by : his mother Manyvanh Luangaphay; his wife Mary Sansiri; his children, Manida Khanounsay, Kaysone Khanounsay, Kamia Khanounsay, Maylee Khanounsay and Jade Khanounsay; and his siblings, Chanhpheng Khanounsay, Khemkham Khanounsay, Rasamy Khanounsay, Veotha Khanounsay and Miko Khanounsay. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
